The Islamic Association of Finland was founded in 1986 and registered in early 1987 as the second official Islamic religious association in Finland. The Ministry of Education approved the registration under the 1923 Freedom of Religion Act. Any Muslim living in Finland, male or female, can join the association regardless of their mother tongue. Membership continues even if the resident changes their place of residence, unless they resign. The association includes Muslims of all ethnic and linguistic backgrounds, as well as Muslims of Finnish origin. The majority of the association's members have Finnish citizenship.....

The school was started with a modern and advanced mechanism at the beginning of the 2021-2022 academic year.
The school of the Islamic Association of Finland was established to provide educational services to Muslims living in Finland of various groups and ages. The school strives to teach the Holy Quran, the Arabic language and the principles of Islam in a moderate, balanced manner, which strengthens the sense of belonging to Islam and promotes a culture of love and peace by increasing awareness of the noble principles of Islam.....
